EXECUTIVE TEAM
Leon founded Provident in 1991, following twelve years at predecessor firms. Leon launched Provident with a distressed asset strategy, by purchasing large land parcels from the Resolution Trust Corporation (the “RTC”). Provident was able to acquire a portfolio of over eighty (80) large land parcels, in addition to several distressed subdivisions, which enabled Provident to establish itself as a successful development and real estate investment firm.
Jay joined us in 2001 from a land development company owned by Blackstone Real Estate. His initial role was to expand our master–planned residential development division. After becoming a principal of the firm, Jay has been involved in numerous subdivisions, multifamily, office, retail and hospitality investments. Jay actively manages our investment activity and the day to day operations of the firm.
Joining Provident in 2015 as CFO, Brent is focused on the financial matters of our business, including the management of lender relationships, in addition to overseeing our accounting, asset management, corporate services, financial reporting, tax and investor relations.
